Privacy for Metaxy.

The current beta stores preferences, local session history, playback state and a limited widget snapshot on your device. It does not require an account and does not send these data to Metaxy. It contains no advertising, tracking, third-party analytics, health-data collection or cloud sync.

You can clear session history in the app. You can remove the app and its local data through iOS. Device backups and other Apple services remain controlled by your Apple and device settings.

Apple operates TestFlight. Depending on how you accept an invitation and use the beta, Apple may make your tester identity, email address, device and OS information, installation status, sessions, crashes and voluntarily submitted feedback available to Metaxy through App Store Connect. Screenshots and comments are shared only when you choose to submit them.

Metaxy uses this information to operate and secure the private beta, respond to feedback, investigate reliability and accessibility problems, and decide what to improve. This processing is based on Metaxy's legitimate interests in running and improving a limited private product test, balanced against tester rights.

Apple processes TestFlight information under its own terms and privacy policy.

If you email Metaxy, the message and contact details you provide are used to respond and follow up. Feedback is optional. Please do not include health information or other sensitive personal information.

Metaxy does not sell personal data, build advertising profiles from private states or use feedback for automated decision-making about you.

Identifiable TestFlight feedback, related technical records copied or exported by Metaxy, and direct support correspondence are kept for no longer than 24 months from receipt. They are deleted earlier when they are no longer needed for the beta, issue follow-up, security or support.

Product learnings may be kept without a time limit only after they have been irreversibly anonymised so that they are no longer personal data. If a record must be preserved for a legal obligation or legal claim, it is restricted and kept only for the applicable period.

Apple controls retention inside TestFlight and App Store Connect. The periods above apply to copies controlled by Metaxy; Apple's own retention is described in Apple's policies.

This website has no account, sign-up form, advertising tracker, non-essential cookie or active analytics. It is hosted through Cloudflare. If Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled later, this statement will be updated before activation.

Metaxy uses Apple to distribute the beta, Cloudflare to host the website and an email provider to receive messages. These providers may process limited technical or contact information under their own terms. Where personal data is processed outside the European Economic Area, the provider's applicable transfer safeguards are used.

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email [email protected] to make a request. Metaxy may need enough information to verify that the request concerns you.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands or the data-protection authority where you live or work.

The private beta is intended for invited adults aged 18 or older. It is informal product testing, not medical care or formal research. Metaxy does not use beta feedback to diagnose, treat or monitor a medical condition.

This statement will be updated if the app starts using accounts, analytics, cloud sync, health data or another material data flow. The effective date above will change when the statement changes materially.
